We spend the day in our friends Hugh and Sara's delightful cabin on the island of Lismore, looking up Loch Linne towards Ben Nevis.
We take the opportunity to sort things out and do a few repairs.

Just to say that we in the 'normal world' are enjoying your blog, do keep writing.
ReplyDeleteHello Tom and Ann! The Roberts family are following your blog with great interest too! I'm very impressed with your progress, and that sail must be a real bonus.
ReplyDeleteWe had a good week canoeing and walking around Strontian, although the wind was a bit strong for any major ventures in an open canoe. Still, we did see otters on our last day which was great. I guess that you have been making good use of the break in the weather to round Ardnamurchan point. It looked very choppy when we visited Sanna beach, but I guess that you are prepared for everything! I look forward to reading further entries.
Good luck, and keep paddling!
Dave
Just think of the muscles you will have at the end of a month! And yes, it is particularly freezing here at the moment, but in a couple of weeks we are off to Southern Africa and also Rwanda as Anne has told me that she would love to visit the gorillas 'for her birthday'!
